Who We Are:

Pastor Ken McGarvey, born in Dearborn, Michigan, attended Fordson High School, Taylor University and Grace Theological Seminary. Served in Christian ministry (Youth for Christ director, pastor, minister of youth, minister of music,) teacher, Detroit Tigers fan, singer, church designer, technology enthusiast, father of four children, ten grandchildren and growing count of great-grandchildren, etc.

(Martha) Joy McGarvey, born in Dayton, Ohio, attended Milton-Union High School and Taylor University. Served in several churches (women’s leader, children’s teacher, Sunday school superintendent, VBS director, pianist, organist, soloist), piano teacher, supporter of pastor husband, mother of four children, ten grandchildren and growing count of great-grandchildren, etc.

Now retired from full time ministry and living in Tellico Village, Loudon, Tennessee, the McGarveys have been married for over 60 years (since 1956), and are very active in their church and community. They served the Lord in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania before retiring.
